The days are drawing in now, and winter is on its way. The light fades earlier, and the forest grows quiet. Though there’s an occasional pang for the lost summer—those long, warm days and evenings—autumn has its own quiet charm. The air feels crisp and fresh, and frost weaves its intricate crystal patterns across plants and puddles. Soon, if we’re lucky, the first snow will arrive, bringing with it all the promise of the season ahead.
